Popular award winning Zimbabwean journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, has once again slammed Dr Thokozani Khupe and urged CCC President, Nelson Chamisa, not to entertain her.
Chin’ono wrote a barrage of posts on his popular platforms:
It is easier for those of us who didn’t carry the pain of what Khupe did to the MDCA to pontificate.
I find our political understanding so detached from the reality on the ground.
Your spouse runs away with your business competitor who has made things so difficult for your business to thrive, and has killed one of your children.
This spouse arranges to have you evicted from your family home and you start having business meetings in homes if your friends.
The spouse and your business competitor get your kids kicked out of their work places facilitating full countrol of your business to the competitor.
She takes away all your legitimate sources of income and starts collecting income from your business.
She arranges with your evil competitor to have laws enhanced that will make it impossible for your business to start again.
Against all odds you manage to start a new business.
You competitor has a fight with your accountant who she ran away with and wants to come back to your new business claiming she has a good relationship with some of your customers.
Then neighbors ask you and your customers that stayed with you why you are so mad with the idea of her coming back to join your new business after she has been dumped by the evil competitor?
Is that our understanding of politics?

The quickest way to destroy CCC is for Nelson Chamisa to entertain the idea of ELITE alliances.
If someone “has people” as we are constantly told, then they should not worry because it is the people that will choose leaders.
You only worry if you have imaginary support!
If people of Bulawayo want Khupe to lead them, then let the people of Bulawayo elect Khupe instead of asking for Khupe to be accommodated.
Nobody has a mandate to speak on behalf of the people of Bulawayo except themselves.
Let them express that political will to be led by Khupe!
