President Mnangagwa and Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi will oversee the signing of several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) as Harare and Gaborone seek to deepen relations.

Mnangagwa and Masisi arrived in Victoria Falls yesterday ahead of the official opening today of the Third Session of the Zimbabwe/Botswana Bi-National Commission (BNC).

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Dr Frederick Shava addressed the ministerial session at the on going 3rd session of the Zimbabwe/ Botswana Bi-National Commission.

He said the meeting lays the foundation for the meeting of Presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa and Mogkwetsi Masisi tomorrow which will be the apex of the BNC.

Zimbabwe and Botswana have so far signed 20 MoUs as part of 43 to cover co-operation in various sectors of the economy.
