Prominent Zimbabwean church leader Edd Branson has pledged to fly back all Zimababwean stranded in Ukraine.
Writing on social media, Branson said in response to many pleas, he will offer a plane to carry all straned Zimbabwean national in Ukraine from Poland.
He said Zimbabweans should go to Poland and approach the Zimbabwean embassy for them to be chartered home for free.
The safest route has become road transport to Belarus or Poland
Russian forces have launched a major assault on Ukraine, firing missiles on cities and military targets.
The invasion by land, air and sea began after Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded that Ukraine’s military lay down its arms.
