Prominent Zimbabwean artist Claire Dongo has passed away.
The death of the artist has been confirmed by award winning journalist, Hopewell Chinono.
“I am devastated to hear that one of Zimbabwe’s leading creatives and digital artists and lecturer Claire Dongo has lost her battle with Lupus.
I first met her in England when we became friends.
She was one of the brightest minds in Zimbabwe’s creative industry yet humble.
I am devastated
Thank you for all the work you did for me at no cost at all because you believed in my civic work.
