AWARD winning independent journalist Hopewell Chinono says his life is in danger.
Chinono arrived in the country yesterday from Paris, France where he had gone two weeks ago to attend a Africa-France Summit.
After landing at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, his car was followed by a suspicious Mercedes Benz.
He took to social media to announce that he is feeling unsafe because of the car that has been following him from the Airport.
“There is a green Mercedes that has been trailing me from the airport right up to my home in Chisipite!
Intimidating journalists is a sign of repression and intolerance!
Instead of instilling fear in us, engage with the exposures of corruption and put an end to looting & plunder,” he posted.
