Meet the “Black Immigrant”.

Her narrative of being caught between a grey area, black and white lines made up of attributes of #war, #racism, #politics, past & present systems of segregation.

The grey area has been turned into an inspiration for us to re-write our ancestors’ woeful #history & become their wildest dreams.

The South African culture was brilliantly represented throughout the Collection with the print and art from Mandla “@mandla_artist ” Mavengere and it’s infusion with the work of David Tlale.

Mandlenkosi told the Sowetan Newspaper that, at first, it wasn’t easy to tap into the fashion side of art. He said he and Tlale  had to learn each other’s concepts and it took some time to find common ground.

Mandlenkosi said the collaboration was not going to be once off, but is going to be a series.
