The Matepatepa community of Bindura has been left in tears after a mysterious fire has been destroying their houses for eight consecutive days.
According to sources, 15 houses have been reduced to double by the mysterious fire which is striking daily since the 27th of June, in a development that has left residents living in fear.
The toll of the destruction continues to rise on a daily basis and villagers now sleep in the open for fewer of being the next victims.
Village Chairman Ernest Chasvika has made a distress call on behalf of the community after self-proclaimed prophets failed to come up with a solution.
