Tanzanian opposition leader, Tindu Lissu says John Pombe Magufuli died last week.
The opposition leader who escaped an assassination attempt in 2017 says the Tanzanian government is lying to the people.
He further revealed that Magufuli did not die due to heart complications but he succumbed to Covid-19.
Tundu says he has proof that Magufuli died last week.
Tanzania was plunged into mourning on Thursday over the death of President John Magufuli following weeks of uncertainty over his health.
