Honourable Tatenda Mavetera says she wishes Anne Nhira left a child behind.
Speaking in an Interview with SlymediaTV, Mavetera said she always urged the late Nhira to get married or to have a child.
According to Mavetera, Nhira was not married as she was still waiting for the right man to marry her. Mavetera also revealed that she got the sad news through a call from one of the family members.
Tatenda Mavetera who played Nhira’s sister in Studio 263 also described Nhira as more than an on-screen sister.
“It is a very sad day in my life today, losing a sister in set and off set. For me, Anne Nhira was actually a sister, she was a results-oriented person and where we are today us because of her efforts and she would tell us to work hard. We used to start work at 5am and finish at midnight,” said Mavetera.
Nhira who rose to fame in the hit soapie Studio 263 as Vimbai Jari, succumbed to injuries after being mugged in South Africa.
