Five (5) Zimbabwean artists have been Shortlisted for the Listeners Choice Category on the MTV Africa Music Awards 2021 (MTV MAMA).
The nominees are Winky D, Gemma Griffiths, Asaph, Jah Prayzah and the South Africa based Zimbabwean artist Shasha.
The first artists will battle for one to them to become the official representative on the awards.
The MTV Awards showcases the ultimate in African culture, music, and creativity.
The awards will be held in a re-imagined virtual format in partnership with Uganda, The Pearl of Africa on 20 February 2021.
The MTV Music Awards will be broadcast on MTV base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV (DStv Channel 130).
