The International Cross-Border Traders’ Association (ICTA) President Denis Juru says the announcement made by General Chiwenga to close down borders with immediate effect makes no sense.
Juru said some of the members are already outside the country however Chiwenga did not specify on what will happen to them.
Juru said the economy is delapidated thus Chiwenga cannot totally shutdown the border cause the country depends on imported goods.
He added that closing the border without notifying people is a bad attitude that cannot be accepted.
Meanwhile, Juru said he is engaging the government on a possible solution to the immediate closure of borders
