Namibian oppositional parties are against the option of working on a coalition with the ruling party Swapo.

In yhe previous elections, the ruling party lost its dominance in many regions.

Namibian Broadcasting corporation reports that Popular democratic movement leader Emmanuel Karingombe  wrote a letter to his regional leadership directing them to negotiate coalition with any party except Swapo.

Adding on, other parties like Landless people’s movement and Nudo are also against the coalition.

Commenting on the issue, Secretary General Sofia Shangwa only said the decision was not a collective politburo.
