Popular South African Based Malawian Prophet, Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary have been released unconditionally on bail by a Malawian Magistrate.
Bushiri’s lawyer argued that the police who arrested Bushiri did not follow procedures, a view that was agreed to by the Magistrate.
This means Bushiri is free to do as he pleases in Malawi as there has been no formal extradition request from South Africa to Malawi.
