Hot 263 YouTube Channel has revealed details of the first wife of Zimbabwe President, ED Mnangagwa.
Mnangagwa was married to the sister of Josiah Tongogara, whose name was Jayne Matarise. Jayne was born in Shurugwi, the 5th childcin a family of 10 – 8 boys and 2 girls.
Jayne and Mnangagwa got married in September 1973.
She died on January 31, 2002 after a long battle with Cervical cancer. The two had their first child, Farai in 1976.
In 1977, the two had their second child Tasiyiwa.
Jane remained in Zambia while Mnangagwa joined Mugabe as a special assistant in Mozambique.
In total, Jayne and Mnangagwa were blessed with 6 children : Farai, Tasiyiwa, Tariro, Vimbai, Tapiwa, Emmerson Jnr/ Tanaka.
