Former MDC MP and current Reserve Bank if Zimbabwe advisor, Eddie Cross says he recently met with Nelson Chamisa after along time.

He says Chamisa ‘s demands are making it impossible for Dialogue to get started.

Cross said he told Chamisa that for Mnangagwa to talk to him, he must accept that Mnangagwa won the 2018 Elections.

Cross said no amount of international pressure will make Mnangagwa talk to Chamisa if he does not accept Mnangagwa’s Presidency.

Cross says if Chamisa had accepted the leader of the opposition role, Zimbabwe would have moved on a long way.

However, Chamisa Wants Mnangagwa to accept that he did not win the 2018 elections and therefore there should vd a coalition government, which is not acceptable to Mnangagwa and his stakeholders. Cross says Mnangagwa is not a free agent, but like Ramaphosa has his own leadership stakeholders to think of.
