Ministry of finance permanent secretary George Guvamatanga and his entire family of nine members had to be quarantined after they tested positive for Covid-19.
Speaking to ZBC during the weekend Guvamatanga said he nearly died of Covid-19.
Guvamatanga said coronavirus is not just a flue but a respiratory disease which saw him being hospitalised for over three weeks.
Guvamatanga said the experience was horrible however how the family managed to survive the trauma.
