Zimbabwean police have issued a stern warning against the planned anti-corruption demonstrations set for Friday.
In a statement issued recently, the Republic Police say all security forces will be out in full force to ensure COVID-19 regulations are adhered to.
Government has accused opposition leaders who are convening the protests as attempting to overthrow government.
One opposition leader, Jacob Ngarivhume and investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono were arrested last week for promoting the demonstrations.
