Movement for Democratic Change Alliance Vice President Tendai Biti Says Patrick Chinamasa is a failed but dangerous ZANU appendage without any restraint or limits.
Posting in a twitter thread on Tuesday Biti said Chinamasa’s insane zeal comes from the fact that he did not participate in the liberation struggle and was hiding in a law firm.
Biti added that Chinamasa is a crude rough unrefined gangster who over the years has personally unleashed abuse on Zimbabweans namely the dismissal of Chief Justice Gubbay and other judges in 2000.
This comes after former finance minister Chinamasa’s press conference on Monday slamming Tendai Biti accusing him of writing letters to the international financial institutions instructing them to stop funding Zimbabwe.
Referring to Biti’s statements of August 2018 that the opposition will make sure government will not get foreign funding, Chinamasa admitted that the opposition succeeded because they were sent to do that.
Biti said the conference is a disingenuous attempt to justify violence and murder on 31July and subsequent crackdown on the Alliance and its leaders.
Biti added that MDC Alliance is a peaceful constitutional body, not a terrorist as it supports the constitution and the right embedded in Section 59 which gives Zimbabweans a right to participate in peaceful protest
Biti said MDC A therefore condemns and rejects any attempt to de facto suspend the and unbalanced remarks of Chinamasa, a political ramshackle that needs to retire.
