Hwange is a stopover town along the road between Bulawayo and Victoria Falls and is the gateway to the Hwange National Park.

Villagers from Hwange face water challenges together with under funded schools which makes the living a bit hard.

Although Hwange is one of Zimbabwe’s largest national park attracting a number of tourists, the town is still underdeveloped with people facing unending water woes, sometimes they get to walk about 14km to get to the nearest water source.

The grand circle foundation has since drilled a borehole for some of the villagers to help ease water shortages in the area.

Moreover in terms of education schools are dilapidated and most teachers due to economic backlash in the country have left the country for greener pastures.
