Zimbabwe Billionaire Businessman mogul and former rugby player John Bredenkamp has died due to kidney complications.
Bredenkamp who is alleged to have been funding ZANU Pf died at the age of 79.
According to media reports, Bredenkamp, was a sanctions buster for the Rhodesia regime and was once reputated had a fortune of over US$850 million from arms dealing, tobacco trading and diamond mining in the DRC
Bedenkamp founded the Casalee Group of companies registered in Antwerp, Belgium, involved in the sale of Rhodesian tobacco on world markets, through evasion of UN sanctions.
Bredenkamp was linked to claims in facilitating the retirement of Mugabe in 2000, by the Guardian’s investigation into the leaked US embassy cables.
