North Korea Leader, Kim Jong Un has made a surprise appearance after 20 days out of the public eye.
The official Rodong Sinmun newspaper published photos of Kim at the ceremony on their website showing him smiling as he cut ribbons while speaking to officials.
Kim appeared at a fertilizer plant official opening ceremony near the city of Sunchon, north of the capital Pyongyang.
Kim sat next to his sister Kim Yo-Jong during the ceremony.
