The ZANU PF Politiburo has suspended Pupurai Togarepi who was secretary of the Youth league,Lewis Matutu and Godfrey Tsenengamu.
Togarepi who was serving as Secretary of the Youth League has been relieved of his position and is now a central committee member.
Matutu and Tsenemugamu were also suspended from the politburo for holding a press conference where they named a prominent Zimbabwean businessman as corrupt.
Patrick Chinamasa read out the suspensions of Pupurai Togarepi, deputy youth secretary Lewis Matutu and political commissar Godfrey Tsenemugamu with immediate effect yesterday.
Togarepi,Matutu and Tsenemugamu were relieved of their positions and are no longer members of the politburo, he said.
Chinamasa added that Matutu and Tsenemugamu were supposed to undergo a compulsory ideology orientation course for three months after a period of 12 months.
This comes after Matutu and Tsenemugamu addressed a news conference on Monday where they demanded the arrest of party benefactor Kudakwashe Tagwirei for corruption.
