Spotlight Zimbabwe reports that ED Mnangagwa has been put under virtual house arrest by General Chiwenga.
The online newspaper reports that General Chiwenga’s faction has compromised the Presidential guard and ED Mnangagwa is increasingly relying on the Central Intelligence Orgnisation ( CIO).
Mnangagwa was reportedly briefed by State Security Minister Owen Ncube that the risk of a Military coup was now at its highest.
Ncube reportedly advised Mnangagwa to remain in the country and avoid foreign trips and summits “indefinitely” as he was now under virtual military house arrest from VP Chiwenga’s faction functionaries running the army and air force, who are still bent on staging a putsch against him.
