Today the Reserve Bank seemed to have done something fast than expected and it was name and shaming a bank that had flooded new currency in the black market.
He said that someone had the priviledge to withdraw ZWL$15 000 which is about 5 times the amount gazetted to everyone to cut cash shortages.
Some other citizens are not impressed by this press statement from RBZ as they believe this was not only an isolated case
Some are saying there are other big fish being protected by the government who withdrew more than hundreds of thousands ZWL.
RBZ assured the public that they were being assisted by the bank and their client on the matter and that they were taking discplinary action.
