The MDC is set to counter the anti sanctions march scheduled for 25 October with a mass demonstration on the 24th of October.

Sources close to the MDC have revealed that an application to the police has already been made.

The SADC body is set to stand in solidarity with President ED Mnangagwa in calling for the unconditional removal of sanctions which are believed to be hindering the success of the economy.

The MDC founder Morgan Tsvangirai is blamed for calling for the sanctions as a pressure tool to enforce regime change.

The Western imposers of sanctions have laid the conditions for the removal of these sanctions with reforms being the centerpiece. The ED Mnangagwa government has decided to ignore the reforms demand and focus on marches and sanctions must go choruses.

The police has not yet acknowledged receipt of the application to hold a demonstration by the MDC.
