The ministry of health and child care has resorted to importing doctors following the strike by doctors which has crippled the health sector. The striking doctors are demanding better working conditions. The country has turned into a series of demonstrations with the latest being the of ZIMPOST workers who are also demanding better wages.

Plesae be advised the first contingent of fofty(50) foreign medical personnel contracted to provide services in the country’s public health institutions will arrive on Sunday 13 October 2019.
