The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, in which Pastor Shingi Munyeza is a top executive has allegedly organised an event to counter the 25 October Anti-Sanctions day. They intend to hold a prayer vigil on the same day in collaboration with ARTUZ.
Upon receiving such news through Twitter, Pastor Shingi Munyeza, who seats on the Presidential Advisory Committee was quick to condemn the actions by his organisation EFZ. He said that it is unacceptable, clearly choosing the sanctions holiday over a prayer vigil.
He further indicated that he will advise EFZ accordingly meaning that the vigil will not take place under his watch. In other words, a pastor will make sure that no mass prayer meeting will take place.
