The South Africa Taxi Industry Body SANTACO has distanced itself from a social media statement which has gone viral this weekend.
The statement has brought Johannesburg on edge. The social media statement follows after two people were killed and 15 were injured during a March by Hostel Dwellers on Sunday 8 September.
The current wave of Xenophobic attacks has left over 700 Zimbabweans and Mozambicans homeless, especially in Katlehong where 25 Foreign Nationals reportedly lost their lives.
