Paddington Japajapa,an infamous political activist was slapped with a 3 year sentence with one year suspended on condition he does not commit a similar offence.The matter was presided over by provincial magistrate Mrs Vongai Guwuriro.
This came after a full trial was conducted and he was found guilty of inciting public violence.He was recently granted bail pending appeal by High Court Judge Justice Manzunzu.
It is the States case that Japajapa was caught on camera exclaiming that if the results of the 2018 elections were not in favour of the opposition party,he would incite violence.
Japajapa is infamous for his remarks after the August army shootings when he threw top ZANU PF officials under the bus.
