President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Government of Nigeria has send condolences to the government and people of Zimbabwe over the passing of the founding father and former President, Robert Mugabe, 95.
The President sends out the message to family members, friends and political associates of the political activist who fought for the independence of the country from colonial rule, and lived most of his life in public service.
He has expressed that he is praying for the family of Mugabe and all Zimbabwe mourning the hero.
He believes Mugabe’s sacrifices, especially in struggling for the political and economic emancipation of his people, will always be remembered by many and will not go down in vain
