The main opposition party in Zimbabwe has slated the 14th of September as their anniversary celebrations date.
MDC was established in 1999 as an opposition party to the Zanu Pf government when members of the broad coalition of civic society groups with the most notable being the ZCTU.
The 20 year anniversary will be hosted at Rufaro stadium. Watch this space for live updates from the celebrations
