A Harare man, Samson Mukululi Nhubu was arraigned before Harare Magistrates Court earlier on this week on charges of indecent assault.
He appeared before Magistrate Learnmore Mapiye who granted him 200RTGs bail.The Magistrate ordered the accused to report at ZRP Avondale once a week and not to interfere with State witnesses.He was also ordered to reside at his given address.
The State ,represented alleged Sebastian Mutizirwa stated that on the 22nd of August this year,Samson was driving along Samora Machel Avenue when he met the victim.
They consented to proceed to the accused’s workplace to discuss pending business issues.When they arrived,Samson curiously requested the complainant to hug him.
The complainant complied.Consequently,Samson further drew nearer to the complainant and sodomised him once without protection.
Afterwards,the accused ordered the complainant to put on his clothes.He later on dropped him off along samora Avenue.
This prompted the complainant to make a police report at Avondale Police Station which led to the accused’s apprehension.
