
Brenda Zvinorova, the girlfriend of Zimbabwean soccer star, Alois Bunjira, who was critically injured in a head-on collision on the Rusape-Nyanga road, passed away on Tuesday after fighting for her life on a life-support system for three days at Milton Park Medical Centre in Harare. Despite efforts to save her following the accident that also killed two people in the other vehicle, Brenda succumbed to her injuries.

~9:30 AM: Bunjira and Brenda have already passed the town of Rusape. Saturday, Shortly after 9:30 AM: A head-on collision occurs about 8 km along the Rusape-Nyanga road. An Isuzu pickup truck attempting to overtake a bus collides with Bunjira’s BMW. Immediate Aftermath:
Two people in the Isuzu are killed. Bunjira and Brenda are injured. Saturday (Post-accident): Both injured parties are first rushed to Rusape General Hospital. Saturday
(Later the same day): Due to the severity of her injuries, Brenda is transferred from Rusape General Hospital to the Milton Park Medical Centre in Harare. Saturday – Monday: Brenda is placed on a life-support system at Milton Park Medical Centre and fights for her life for three days.
Tuesday: Brenda Zvinorova succumbs to her injuries and passes away.
