Vice President Cde Kembo Mohadi is in Luanda, Angola, ahead of his scheduled visit to the Boma Shrine in Moxico Province this Tuesday.

The shrine is the resting place of more than 300 ZIPRA guerrillas who were buried in a mass grave following a 1979 attack during Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle.

VP Mohadi’s visit is part of efforts to honor the sacrifices of fallen freedom fighters and strengthen historical ties between Zimbabwe and Angola, both of which share deep liberation war connections.
