Minnie Chiwenga. the wife of Zimbabwe Vice President, General Constantino Chiwenga, has disowned a Facebook Post that was written by the account Miniyothabo Baloyi Chiwenga, she said:

are fake. I dont use my full name on social media

It’s disheartening to witness how your relentless pursuit of wealth and influence has overshadowed the values this community once held dear. Your actions, masked as progress, reveal a pattern of exploitation that prioritizes personal gain over collective good. I write to you with respect, though I must address the concerning narratives you’ve shared regarding my husband, the Vice President of Zimbabwe. Let me be clear: my husband has dedicated his life to serving this nation, first as a soldier bound by duty to protect the President and the sovereignty of Zimbabwe, and now in his constitutional role as Vice President.
In the military, we are trained to uphold loyalty, discipline, and unity—principles that remain foundational to his service. To suggest he seeks division between the Office of the Vice President and the President is not only untrue but disrespectful to the very ideals he has spent decades defending. His commitment to stability and constitutional order is unwavering, and he has always acted in the interest of national cohesion.
As for my name being invoked in these matters: I ask that my family’s privacy be respected. Speculation about personal motives only distracts from the work being done to serve Zimbabweans. Let us focus on dialogue that strengthens our nation, not fractures it.
