In a recent address at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare during the Zimbabwe Defence Forces Day celebrations, President Emmerson Mnangagwa committed to enhancing the welfare of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF).
He assured the thousands in attendance that the government is working on providing better salaries, improved housing, and improved working conditions for military personnel.
Mnangagwa highlighted that the Defence Forces Service Commission is finalizing plans to rationalize inter-rank salary differentials, aligning with the implementation of the Military Salary Concept.
He emphasized that ongoing efforts to improve the conditions of service for ZDF members are a reflection of the government’s dedication to supporting its security forces.
