Labenmon Chinese cement manufacturers have ignored an order given by Mnangagwa to stop operations at a cement plant in Magunje. The Zimbabwe military, Chiefs and locals are opposed to the project that is being run by Labenmon
.The Chinese have also ignored a High Court order that was granted to the Environmental Management Agency.
The project is being run next to Magunje dam which is located near the Zimbabwe Army base (2.3 Barracks, Magunje Growth Point, Magunje Irrigation Scheme and various Schemes).

2010: The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) is founded in the United Kingdom by Conrad Mwanza, a Zimbabwean businessman based in the UK. The primary aim is to recognize and celebrate the notable achievements of Zimbabweans in the diaspora. The first award ceremony is held in the UK.
Early Years (Post-2010): The ZAA quickly establishes itself as a premier event, primarily hosted in the United Kingdom.
Expansion Begins: The awards brand begins to expand its global footprint, launching editions in new territories to celebrate the diaspora in those regions.
By 2018: The ZAA has established editions in the UK, South Africa, USA, and Australia. WorldRemit, a London Fintech Company, is announced as a global partner for ZAA International in March 2018, headlining events in the UK, South Africa, USA, and Australia. The 2018 UK Edition, held in London on May 26, features Tsitsi Masiyiwa as the keynote speaker.
2023: The ZAA continues its expansion, holding its first-ever Gala Dinner in Scotland on April 15. Other editions for the year include South Africa (April 29) and England (April 22). The ZAA Australia Edition also returns after a three-year break, with its gala set for November 11.
2024: The UK Edition is held on May 11 in Birmingham, with Remitly confirmed as the headline partner. The South African edition is scheduled for November 30 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Johannesburg.
