Minister of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture has congratulated the new Zimbabwean Federation Boxing Champion. Writing on X, Sanyatwe said:
l would like to congratulate our new Zimbabwean International Boxing Federation Champion, Beaven Sibanda. On 5 July 2025, Sibanda fought and won against Richard Garde from Philippine at the Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, South Africa (SA). The two were fighting for the Minimum Weight title for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Well-done Beaven Sibanda!
