HELLO there, hope I find you well!
Our focus this week is on the Inter-Cities Sports Festival, which our city will host from October 25 to 26, 2025. The festival is an annual event, and this year, we are proud to be the hosts.
The festival will feature various local authorities participating in this prestigious event, marking the first time the City of Mutare will host it.
The games will run under the theme: “Sport as a Vehicle for Social Inclusion, Building a Healthy Workforce, and Reducing Drug and Substance Abuse.”
The issue of drug and substance abuse is a global concern, and as City of Mutare, we would like to take this opportunity to spread awareness and promote a healthy community free from drugs.
We expect over ten local authorities to participate in these games.
Various venues will host different sporting disciplines.
We have spread the games to different venues in the city. The venues include Sakubva Stadium, Chisamba grounds, Chinyausunzi grounds, Sakubva Beithall, Hillside Golf Course, Florida Social Centre and Sakubva Primary School.
The sporting disciplines on offer include soccer, netball, tug of war, darts, pool, volleyball, chess, golf, athletics and swimming.
We would also like to take this opportunity to invite corporates and individuals to partner with us through cash and kind sponsorships.
Exhibition space is available for your brand to showcase its products and services to a diverse audience.
This is a unique chance to exhibit and publicise your business during the festival, reaching a large and engaged crowd.
For more information on partnership opportunities and exhibition space bookings, please contact our Sports Officer, Mr N Nyaude, at 0772932822. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to increase your brand’s visibility and reach in the community.
K.B. Chafesuka,
