Five Members of Parliament from the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) were involved in an accident. One MP, Desire Moyo, a popular poet, has been confirmed dead, just a day before his birthday.
He was traveling with MPs Madalaboyi Ndebele, Senator Rita Ndlovu, Sethule Ndebele, Libion Sibanda and Desire Moyo when their vehicle hit an elephant just before Shangani. The other MPs involved were rushed to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
