
H-Metro reports that the accident in Chitungwiza in which 17 people died happened soon after an incident in the Kombi in which a passenger attempted to pay with a 20 Zig note.
An argument ensured and the driver Tatenda Dhokwani (25) asked the passenger to disembark. The passenger involved, “Baba Tiara”, watched in horror as the truck crashed into the taxi soon after he disembarked.The accident involved a haulage truck and a commuter omnibus (kombi). Reports indicate the truck veered into the opposite lane after the driver lost control.
