Controversial socialite and whistleblower Susan Mutami has ignited a fresh storm on social media with a series of explosive allegations implicating prominent Zimbabwean figures in criminal, political, and personal scandals.
In a lengthy post, Mutami accused the late businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure and businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla of allegedly running a criminal enterprise that included drug distribution and elaborate financial scams. She also made unverified claims about coercive tactics used to silence powerful individuals.
Turning to former model and Vice President Chiwenga’s ex-wife, Mary Mubaiwa, Mutami claimed that Mary was allegedly involved in a plot to assassinate Chiwenga allegations that echo previous charges laid against Mubaiwa, though she has consistently denied wrongdoing.
Mutami further alleged that two intelligence officers connected to Mubaiwa died under suspicious circumstances, and she claimed involvement of spiritual practices from outside Zimbabwe in attempts to weaken Chiwenga’s influence.
Mutami is known for making controversial and politically charged statements online. Her posts often spark widespread debate, with critics accusing her of character assassination, while supporters claim she exposes the underbelly of Zimbabwean elite politics.
