New ZANU-PF MPs have today taken oaths of Office.

The Parliament of Zimbabwe made the announcement on Facebook:

Section 128(1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe stipulates that no member of Parliament shall assume his or her seat or perform any parliamentary function before taking and subscribing to the oath of a member of parliament as prescribed in the third schedule. pursuant to section 128(2), concomitantly, Hon. Masvingise Zvarevashe, duly elected member for Gutu east constituency, and Hon. Moyo Delani, duly elected member for Insiza North Constituency, this day took and subscribed to the oath of office, thereby formally assuming their roles as members of the National Assembly and undertaking to uphold the Constitution and faithfully serve the interests of their respective constituencies.
