Botswana’s president, Duma Gideon Boko is in the Republic of Malawi for a state visit.

Boko has praised Malawian president, Lazarus Chakwera for the warm welcome citing that it is a true reflection of the historic bond and mutual respect between the two nations.



He says during their bilateral engagement they spoke openly about deepening cooperation in areas such as trade, agriculture, infrastructure and youth empowerment.

Duma Gideon Boko says he hopes that the visit will mark the beginning of strong ties between the two nations so that people benefit from every policy initiated.
