Today the ruling ZANU-PF party met for its 385th Politburo Meeting chaired by E. D Mnangagwa.
In his opening remarks, Mnangagwa said the session allows the Party to reflect on the social, political andĀ economic landscape and the impact of national programmes on the people.
He urged party leadership to draw lessonsĀ from the rich history and experiences of the revolutionary party.
Mnangagwa then empasised that every serving member should have integrity, discipline and accountability and embrace them as core principles which guide the conduct of the Party adding that these cardinal principles should be passed on to new members and young people of the Party.
Furthermore he called on all members to remain firmly reliant and responsive to the citizens in the communities and always ensure the over-sight role of the ruling party benefits to the people.
Mnangagwa expressed displeasure on the state of affairs in hospitals.
He said more is expected from all stakeholders and government is comprehensively addressing the delivery of quality social services.
Looking at the party’s achievements he said the construction of the Trabablas traffic interchange is another milestone.
InĀ conclusion Mnangagwa encouraged all members to be united, focused, patriotic and hardworking to achieve the national aspirations.
