Humile Mashatile (née Bogatsu) is the wife of South Africa’s Deputy President Paul Mashatile. She married him in 2023 after both lost their previous spouses in 2020. Humile is 24 years younger than Paul Mashatile and was previously married to Songezo Mjongile, a former ANC Western Cape secretary, who died of colon cancer in 2020. Before her marriage to Mashatile, Humile worked as a personal assistant to Athletics South Africa’s boss and ran a security company in Cape Town.
