Vice President General (Retired) Dr Constantino Chiwenga has praised Tajikistan’s rural industrialisation programmes, noting that their approach aligns closely with Zimbabwe’s own development goals.

He highlighted that the Tajik model offers valuable lessons for empowering rural communities, enhancing food security, and unlocking the full potential of agricultural value chains.

Dr Chiwenga emphasized that adopting similar strategies can help Zimbabwe achieve inclusive economic growth by strengthening rural livelihoods and boosting productivity across the agricultural sector.
