Prominent Zimbabwean businessman Wicknel Chivhayo marked Africa Day 2025 with a tribute to Kenyan President William Ruto, calling him a “statesman par excellence” and a shining example of Pan-African leadership.
In a social media post, Chivhayo shared details of his courtesy visit to President Ruto on May 25, describing the encounter as both meaningful and inspiring.
“Despite his highly demanding schedule, His Excellency received me with humility and brotherhood,” Chivhayo wrote, emphasizing Ruto’s commitment to African unity, youth empowerment, and good values.
Chivhayo highlighted that Ruto’s leadership is not only political but spiritual, noting that the president took time to share scripture and reflections on love, service, and faith-based leadership.
“That blend of spiritual depth and practical wisdom is rare but defines his character,” Chivhayo remarked.
