1. Using marked guns

2. Involving civilians in the operation

3. Stealing goods during the operation

The arrested officials appeared before court martial in 2020 and were sentenced to 220 years in prison. They work for the Special Air Services and say they were on a counter intelligence operation .

They are Chadmore Chikaingesu (35), Trust Hapanyengwi (30 years), Ruka Biton (30 years), Mighty Nyoni (25 years), Mitwell Moyo (33 years), Ishmael Zibula (33 years) and Spencer Chingondo (35 years).

They indicated in court that they received the orders from second in command, Fortune Murondatsimba. They claimed that the orders were consisted with several previous such orders and they had no way of verifying the orders.

The hospital is funded by donations from overseas organisations and a group of individual donors called Cathys’ hundred.

The first in command Taringana Casper Nyagura, the commanding officer of SAS said he was unaware of the operation.
