Deputy Minister Mmapaseka Steve Letsike has condemned podcaster MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho for making derogatory and offensive remarks about media personality Minnie Dlamini on his Podcast and Chill show.
Letsike described the comments as “repugnant” and a form of “online gender-based violence,” infringing on Dlamini’s constitutional rights to dignity and equality.
MacG has been summoned to appear before Parliament’s Portfolio Committee, with potential penalties including fines or imprisonment, and legal action such as crimen injuria is being considered.
